Introduction to Album:
☆Credited by Golden Melody Award, Approved by all people

A music genius winning lots of awards in the Golden Meloday Award--- Jay Chou, broke Twiwanese music record getting several big awards this year. Those incredible achievements approve Jay's talent in music and, undoubtedly, bring a bright hope for the music entertainment which has been hurt by piracy. With those particular honor, all media and fans are expecting eagerly what Jay will surprise them in the third album!

☆Unlimited extending, Creativity shown up "8 Dimensions"

In July of 2002, Jay showed his amazing music imaginations again, trying to extend his range of imaginations. He has also pushed Mandarin music level to a higher one unknowingly! The new album "8 Dimensions" refers to Jay's birthday, Jan 18, 68 (the year by Taiwan's calculation). He can do everything he wants without any limits in Western 8 musical scales. He always surprises people a lot by his innovative music. In addition, he likes to do things differently from others, making people enjoy the imaginary world in a fixed "frame of 8 dimensions". While you are listening to these melodies, you can also enjoy the spectacular and prudential lyrics by *Uen-Shan Fang. It feels like you are enjoying the eighth art, movies!

☆Imagination widening, Enter a dimension of games

Roaming in the world of "8 Dimensions", you can enjoy energy emiting from 8 directions!

"the Orcs" unveils the mystery of this album. Jay sang by a rigid tempo to tell a story that human beings were greedy and depraved enough to be an orc. "Iron Box of An Island" describes a book named "Iron Box of An Island" filled with memories of lovers. It is so good that people can listen to this song repeatedly. After listening to it from top to toe several times, you will find out Jay has become more good at love songs. "Secret Signal" was the first time that the company's employee wrote the lyrics after asking for Jay. Therefore, "Secret Signal" is a very special song which is commemorable. People called this song an easily-spreading smooth song and anticipated it will be popular in KTVs! Now we jump to "Dragon Fist" full of Chinese style. Jay turned to an Eastern dragon all of a sudden, somtimes juming across the Yellow River, sometimes climbing to the summit of Mount Taishan. It seems to stir the rock music in Mandarin world by drumming as "Palace Style". "Where is the Train Going" was the first time Jay sang in Taiwanese! Uen-Shan Fang used unique Taiwanese words and mixed them with Jay's Western music style. When Taiwanese words met Western music, it produced an incredibly comfortable feeling. In "Split", you can see two parts of Jay split by his voice. This is Jay's confession from the bottom of his heart. "Grandfather's Tea" stands for the Zen of a grandfather by means of a common drink, "tea". This song illustrates a granfather is telling his grandson a story. When tea color is getting light and the music is starting, all fame and benefits are gone at the same time. "Return to the Past" was lyricized by his buddy, *Geng-Hung Liu. Geng-Hung drew out feelings of loneness when it is silent at midnight. "Blacksmith of Milan" is crammed with an exotic style. It will bring you into an East European fairy tales world. These notes tell you a story that blacksmiths work hard because they want to have a guitar. The last song --- the Last Battle, describing a friendship in the armed forces by means of majestic melodies, is a great one Jay gave to Geng-Hung as a present. They do be bosom friends, needless to say. This song seems a perfect period after listening to all other songs!

☆MVs comparing favorably with movies, Album photos are innovative and bold

After the last album "Fantasy" got a great selling, how to push the third album to surpass "Fantasy" was a very important job for our company and made the staff get stuck for a while! Therefore, this time we boldly used X-ray technology combined with an average photography to design the photos in this album. It makes people not only see the outside of Jay, but also the inside. The entire visual image in this album is more interesting and colorful. It has subverted the stereotype that people are fearful of X-ray photos.

Besides extraordinary photos, the album has fantastic music videos. The first promoted song breaks in in full fury! "the Last Battle" is a slow song which describes a friendship. Jay went to the boundary of northern Thailand to make this music video for seven days. Jay and his buddy, Geng-Hung Liu, acted as blood brothers who grew up together. During a certain mission, one of them died due to a war. The other was so sad and irritated. He started a revenge plan for his buddy. Such a touching plot with Beijing string orchestra deepens feelings of sadness. This music video compares favorably with a high-scale movie and achieved the dream that Jay wanted to serve in the armed forces!

☆Magic of 8 musical scales, Charm of 8 dimensions

Juggling scales is Jay's potential nature. But he is not full of himself because of his natural gift. Instead, he cautiously makes one and one good songs. He deeply believes that people's support is a driving force of his creativities. Open your eyes to watch the shininess Jay emits!

Of course, the shock to "8 Dimensions" isn't only these above. The marvel it hides will also roll in from all directions! So, please be careful!
