Idol Drama - The Magicians of Love (Ai Ching Mo Fa Shih / 愛情魔髮師)

Story of Drama -
A world-known chain salon, Neo-Image, just had its business. Three popular top designers, Artz (Ya-Sze) (starred by Ming Dao), Riche (starred by Shao-Wei Wang), and Fernando (starred by Fang-Kang Chu), attracted a bunch of people. Meanwhile, a diplomat went to ask them for help. There was a competition named "Taiwan and France Hair Competition" held by a shampoo company. The company found a part-time hair washer to compete with French top designers because they wanted to promote for a French shampoo. This would defame our country, so Artz and the others decided to help the diplomat join the competition.

The three hair designers replaced the part-time hair washer and won the competition. While the glowing model with a fancy hair style walked out, they were applaused like heroes. As for the part-time hair washer replaced by them, she was Juo-I pei (Hsiao-Pei) working at the "Chung Nan Barber Shop" at the alley next to the New-Image. Although Artz kicked Hsiao-Pei out of the stage, he saw the first hair cut she did and thought that she had talent in hair design. He wanted to recruit Hsiao-Pei for Neo-Image.

Neo-Image opened its business under lots of attention. However, it heavily struck the business of the Chung Nan Barber Shop, which is a family one. Its boss, Lao-Pei (starred by Shun Chao), started to run this store after his duty in military. The number of its customers was getting fewer after that high-end salon started. What's worse, his daughter, Hsiao-Pei, was totally lured by the looks of the designers at the Neo-Image.

Chou Mei (starred by Shu-Fang Chiu) finally got her own chance of doing hair desinging after traveling 18 cities with Artz. At the night of Neo-Image's opening, Chou Mei walked into the "agic room" in the store but didn't walk out anymore. Hsiao-Pei saw Fernando wave a knife through a dark window, and then blood was popping out... At the back door of the Neo-Image, Hsiao-Pei saw Rache pass a big bag to two people. She thought that Chou Mei must have been killed, so she reported to the police. Artz and the other two designers went to jail. Hsiao-Pei had a press conference at the Chung Nan, describing the "murder" scene she had seen. Later on, Chou Mei went back home. Everyone realized that they had misunderstood the Neo-Image, but it was over the publishing deadline of newspaper.

The next day, "suspicious murderers" was the headline of every newspaper. Fernando immediately had a press conference in front of the Neo-Image, trying to clarify the suspicion of them. In the middle of clarifying, the minister of National Defense went to the Chung Nan to get a hair cut. All the reporters dashed to ask him about Armed Force Joint Training. Artz and Hsiao-Pei bet on the size of tomorrow's reportings. Artz lost Hsiao-Pei. He needed to take wedding pictures with Chou Mei and live at a "haunted house", the attic of the Chung Nan. Drunk Artz thought Hsiao-Pei was Ching-Kung, so he warmly hugged her. Che-Ming (starred by Yu-Jung Wang) didn't know the situation and locked the door. Artz and Hsiao-Pei accidently walked into the "Water Maze". People said that if two people could pass the maze without thinking the route, they were destined to be a couple. Before, Artz and Ching-Kung couldn't pas the maze; however, Hsiao-Pei passed it one time. This really surprised Artz.

The wedding picture of Artz and Chou Mei put outside the store upset Artz, and he wanted to revenge. Hsiao-Pei's assistant Tung-Tung (starred by Hsiao-Chieh) was wonderring outside the Neo-Image. Artz wanted her to work at the Neo-Image. Artz and Hsiao-Pei made a bet again. If Tung-Tung jumped to the Neo-Image, Hsiao-Pei also needed to work there. Tung-Tung really went to work for the Neo-Image. Hsiao-Pei lost. Hsiao-Pei felt uncomfortable because she would need to leave her father and go to the Neo-Image. While she was hesitant, a car accident happened. She felt somebody saved her but only remembered there was a "23" on the shirt of that guy...

At the first day of Hsiao-Pei's working, two famous models, Ke-Lan (starred by Tang Sui) and Emma (starred by Ai-Hui Sun), argued for a TV commercial. The number one model Ke-Lan fell in love with Fernando when she was hot. However, Fernando fell in love with Emma, and media shot the picture of their kissing one another. After the effort of Riche and Artz, Ke-Lan got the TV commercial.

Riche's godfather was a gangster in Hong Kong, Chen Ke. Riche's father lost and gave Riche to Chen Ke, so, for Rache, Chen Ke was his boss forever. Chen Ke's 9th wife Pai-He loved Rache, so Chen Ke misunderstood Riche. Riche was forced to leave Hong Kong. Chen Ke assigned several people to "greet" Riche back to Hong Kong. When Riche was in trouble, Hsiao-Pei was always with Riche, so she thought Riche was a "police officer." Riche didn't deny any of it. This kind of identity made Hsiao-Pei fall in love with Riche.

Ching-Kung (starred by Meng-Chin Lin) secretly went back to Taiwan. She didn't keep her promise, visiting Artz. Instead, she was examining Artz under the table. She found Artz was very nice to Hsiao-Pei. She was depressed. The contest of the assistants in the Neo-Image was about to start. The assistants were allowed to look for their won models. Ching-Kung meant to get close to Hsiao-Pei without revealing her true identity. She became Hsiao-Pei's best friend. Artz meant to hide the fact that Ya-Chun had died. In order to make his grandma happy, Hsiao-Pei agreed to be Ya-Chun's girlfriend one day. On this day, Hsiao-Pei found several good things about Artz. She had a love feeling towards Artz.

The contest finally started. Mango (starred by Ke Wei), the one who was most likely to get a promotion to a designer, chose Che Ming as her model. Che Ming had a big arguement with Hsiao-Pei not long before. Hsiao-Pei tried to calm down. While she wanted to show her skill, Ching-Kung appeared in the Neo-Image. When Hsiao-Pei learned that Ching-Kung was Artz's ex, her heart was broken, and she lost all of her inspiration. She lost the contest. At that moment, Riche found Hsiao-Pei had loved Artz very deeply.

The existence of Ching-Kung blocked Hsiao-Pei's love and business. The love between her and Artz became unpredictable. Anna, the marketing director of the Neo-Image in England, had an extramarriage affair with Artz's father. Anna aggressively pleased Fernando after coming back to Taiwan. she split the Neo-Image against Artz. One party was oriented by commercials, and the other was oriented by art of hair design. Will Artz and Rache be able to prove that their perseverance will make their dream come true? Hsiao-Pei was confused between Artz and Riche. Who will be her final decision...
