Jay Chou’s 2005 newest Mandarin album “November’s Chopin”

§Romantic, classical elements compose new music poems§
Every summer in the past, everyone seemed to be used to listening to Jay’s music; however, in the summer of 2005, Jay didn’t have his own new album released just as usual. This wasn’t an absence; instead, he wanted to improve his music production more! It’s released a little bit late, but includes more feelings! The sixth album of the Asian super star, Jay Chou, is scheduled to be released in November 1 when it’s full of fall atmosphere. Although it’s come out later than before, people still can smell out the romantic and classical elements hidden inside Jay. People can feel more detailed feelings he puts in this album. You’ll discover a different side of Jay in November’s Chopin!

Since Jay was learning classical music, he has admired Frederic Chopin, a musical genius. This musician revealed his excellent talent in music when he was little, and composed 21 night pieces in total. We can say that night is his most poetry-like masterpiece. In this album, every song is like a poem, a musical work having an image. There is a strong feeling of literature in this album. It just matches Jay, who likes to call himself a “poet.” Therefore, when the music company wanted to title this album “Novemebr’s Chopin,”Jay agreed on it right away! There is nobody but Jay who can be called “musical poet” in the Chinese music industry!

“Yeh Hui Mei” is the gift that Jay presented for his mom, whereas “November’s Chopin” represents the honor that Jay presents for his idol!

This album includes four fast songs, three medium-fast songs, and five love songs, the music genre accepted widely by the public. This is the first time including two song that Jay created for the movie “Initial D”, “Float” and “All the Way to North”, in the bonus tracks of this album. Luxurious poet outfit, luxurious setting for picture taking

In order to have romantic feeling, Jay especially chose Venice where he took pictures for this album. The background of shooting is the luxurious castle where the downfallen nobles lived. The delicate portraits hung inside are lifelike as if we were placed in Harry Potter’s world! The place where we took the pictures is the Piazza San Marco. In order to avoid a large crowd, Jay and the crew especially got up very early and captured the beautiful view at the empty piazza at 6 o’clock in the morning. The piano in pictures was sent from Milan, which is 5-hour away by boat. He worked so hard just because he wanted to present his fans a unique visual effect. On the other hand, designing his own outfit and style for the previous several albums, he selected “luxurious poet” as the center of this album. In risk of carrying the overweighed suitcases, he brought more than 20 suits not only for himself, but also for the other characters in the music videos. He expected to play an excellent Chopin role.
